Homebuyer Tax Credit Extended
Good news for those of you who were thinking about buying a house but have not yet, the first-time homebuyer tax credit has been extended to May of 2010. That means if you have not owned a home for 3 years and you buy one before May, the government will give you $8K.
However, a new provision in the current law also adds current homeowners who have lived in their homes for 5 years to participate. That credit is $6,500. For more information on both click the link below and if you have questions please call our office.
